The Tattoo Journalist (real name: Adriana de Barros) is a Portuguese-Canadian writer and photographer. She has created successful projects over 20 years in art, illustration, graphic design, fashion, film, and web. From launching her own fashion-line stores to founding Scene360 magazine in 2000, the latter attracted over 60 million readers and 5 million social media followers.
Traveling to Europe and North America, The Tattoo Journalist documents the lives of tattooists within studios and conventions. She has featured over 2,000+ artists, in that over a hundred interviews with tattooists such as Chris Garver, Mike Cole, Carlos Torres, Ryan Ashley Malarkey, Gakkin, Teresa Sharpe, Norm Love Letters, Hanumantra, Makoto, Yanina Viland, Mo Ganji, and more.
